I couldn’t agree with you more on seeing misogyny in most places regarding Christianity,in fact it is a struggle for me till date to separate my feelings of that from the times God has paved ways for me. I mean he created us in his image and rightfully so we are going to question our existence and his too. It is only right,I think.

I’ve never been able to explain my faith too. Only that I have it. I get distracted by the outside noise sometimes – “God is a tool of colonization, The Bible is misogyny, God isn’t real”.
Although I remind myself of the number of ways he’s come through for me, the times he didn’t weigh me down. Still, when my candle has been blown out in the deepest darkest part of the tunnel, it is his hand I reach for. The Bible annoys me so I don’t know if I can go back to it.

It’s May though, new year means new year, it’s never too late for mine own intentional journey. X!
