My name is Gold Gerry. I am 22 years old. A Nigerian,I am from Abia state(East). I was raised in Port-Harcourt(South),Nigeria. I come from a family of 5,I am the first girl and the second born.
I graduated from Babcock University (BS.c) where I studied,International Law and Diplomacy. Had my service year at Cross River State(Calabar),served at the Cross River State Tourism Bureau. I recently moved to Lagos,Nigeria in order to pursue my dreams fully as a Media Personality. Yess I want to be a big time TV Girl!.
 
I am Writer(you could say that’s my talent,I guess). I like to say that I’m a real life narrator mostly because my writings are based off on my life;everything that I experience,love,and passionate about. I’ve been on the blogging scene for a little while,been doing this for 5 years now,which is so unbelievable cause I clearly remember the day I ran out to go open a blog;just because I was tired of writing in books. I also got pushed by my brother to do so,then he was my only reader/follower. I later thought to myself that I really wanted people to read my work. I really wanted people to feel connected to my experiences and life and take out a lesson or two from every post.
I started blogging in 2013 December,I had no idea what blogging was even about and Blogging hasn’t become so much of a big deal then. So I opened a free blogging site using Blogspot here’s the link goldgerry.blogspot.com and I began doing my thing.
No single naira/dollar gotten from it,just passion and fulfillment but right now we about to milk it all. I suspended using my first site because I needed to reconstruct my life and blog entirely. I had to ask myself some deep questions in order to figure out what I wanted for myself as a person and also using Gold Gerry as a brand,hence this new site,change and development.
Even in the near future,you’ll definitely notice some changes and improvements on the blog,which is good cause who doesn’t love development?. In that note,consistency is going to be seen here which is one thing I struggled with blogging in the past cause I had always put other things in front of it;but not this time baby. I promise. We’ll definitely have the blog updated at least twice a week from now on-wards.
So in moving forward,this new blog its going to be quite different from what we’re already used to getting from me on the other site. Now we’ll be including fashion,tips,music,movies,art and talk about trendy topics once in a while. We wouldn’t be loosing site of who we are which is mostly about ‘Love and Heartbreaks’,just now you’ll be getting to know me and my preferences a little more deeper than usual.
I am super excited to begin this journey once again and to have you here reading my first post,can’t wait to bring you along all my adventures. Thank you for being a part of my blog and life for this past years,I hope you keep coming to listen to all my rants,in all hopes that they’re beneficial to you.
