01 May My Lockdown Miracle

If I say I am God’s favorite, would you be jealous? Because I think I would like that.

I am definitely on God’s best side and I haven’t felt like this in such a really long time but we’re not hear to dwell on faith and it’s workings.

Why are you here?

In order to save your precious time and avoid the dramatics, this story would be told in highlights. As we all know, these are perilous times. Maybe Christ is coming or maybe we are about to die out of our sinful nature. With the COVID-19 having us shitting our pants on a daily basis, a lot of us have been masking our pain and anger through comedy and social media. I have feared unemployment and uncertainty the most, not just for myself but for a lot of people which is why I feel the need to share this with you.

A month ago, I watched someone’s status update with a job ad and I was like err what’s the worst that could happen(las las them no go answer me). You know most times, I forget the amazing being that I am, my power and ability but it’s all good as long as you get back up.

Oh well, fast forward to two weeks later…I get multiple calls(interviews) and I got the job y’all. This is the biggest opportunity I have ever had, I mean it is life changing(literally).

You wouldn’t even believe that before that day, I had gotten 3 job offers. THREE!!!

Why is this a big deal?

Brothers and Sisters, I was unemployed for 3 months, and the company I had worked for hasn’t paid us for November and December(fyi: they’re yet to still pay). No source of income and if you know me, or followed my blog, you would know that I do not depend on anybody for anything, I can’t do it. So these months were the most terrifying for me.

I had to re-evaluate my life to decide what I wanted for myself.

So I went from being jobless to having multiple job offers and then boom the one I never even thought I was qualified for happen. I cried and you know big girls don’t cry

So this is my testimony(at least a part of it) lmao

Maybe this is a prayer or motivational speech but let me have this moment(I may need to come back to it whenever I feel low).

You are beautiful

You are strong

You are talented

Your creativity is beyond imaginations

You are loved

You are powerful

There is nothing you cannot do

Whatever you put mind to, can be achieved and Ms Rona can’t stop my shine.
