For the longest time,I have accepted and gone with compliments from people especially from guys that made me feel uncomfortable but couldn’t quite figure out what exactly made me resent it. I also used to date a guy that would tell me what to wear and what not to put on just cause he wanted me to fit his brand and not be that girl who dressed ‘irresponsibly’ in desperate need of attention he would say. Now, not only did that relationship end disastrously but I never want to be around anyone who made me doubt or question the kind of person I am.

This post/writing is inspired by Hailee Steinfeld’s music(the video actually) titled Most Girls,because until I watched this video I never understood the feelings I spoke about earlier. I like to think that we are in a heated climate with a constant work/request for change and appreciation…it may not necessarily be a movement as seen in the Martin Luther King days but a strong fight is happening in almost every community. In individual states,politics,gays,ethnic groups,religion,career,sexual harrassment,and one of the most renowned ‘Feminist Movement’…the women liberty movement to be exactly who we are unapologetically. This strong movement has got a lot of people scared just like the colonizers/oppressors in the 50’s. As a result of the climate change and raised awareness I am able to sieve an insult from a compliment. I wouldn’t let anyone,talk more of a Man put other females down just so I could feel good about myself. Just like Hailee’s music says ‘Most Girls,our fight to make everyday;no two are the same’ no one is better of than the other. If a woman chooses to wear tiny dresses,that is just who she is. If another chooses to be a geek,that is just who she is…there is no standard to being a WOMAN,and because we’ve been put in a box for so long and told how to act,talk,dress,walk and become, some of us fear who we are or could be outside that box but I know this…

I am Inspiring

I am Strong.

I am Perfect in my own way,and so are you…so is every single girl in the world.

You’re nobody’s robot or perfection,you set out your life and you live it fearlessly just as you want. That job you want,that place you want to go to,do you even want to have 10 boyfriends at a time?;I support you girl…get your love on!!! I never want you to be like the next woman,I only want you to be yourself and be proud of it cause you are YOU!!

Never let anyone bring you down and any other just because they’re not behaving like Cinderella or maybe his/her Mum;shut it down immediately.
